I don't know where this post goes, but I want to know about perry (the fermented beverage made from pears).
About 25 years ago, I dated an English girl from Lincolnshire. She gave me a six-pack of perry as a Xmas gift. I don't remember a thing about it except that it was delicious, and I can't find anything like it in the USA.
All I can find here is pear cider, and it's nothing like I remember perry being.
Can someone recommend a true perry that is available to us Yanks?
