He could possibly save the Trump administration single-handed. It's well-known that Trump loves 4-star generals and he's a Marine to boot.
He may be the one person who could get Trump to stop doing stupid things like the trans ban or DJT-Jr.'s letter. He won't get him to stop tweeting but he might get him to tone it down. I think the acid test is if Steve Bannon is still there 6 months from now. If Kelly gets rid of Bannon and marginalizes Jared and Ivanka, then there is hope that Trump will finish out his term. It also might set up Kelly for 2020.
