Unarmed Black 15 year old shot by Police while in car

A Black 15 year old honor student was shot in the head by a police 'rifle' (Coroner statement-no type specified) while leaving a teenage party that cops had been called to break-up. This story is interesting for the several unanswered questions it has raised. Apparently, cops knew they were responding to a party with juveniles. Why the rifle? Also, the police chief originally stated that officers fired after the car backed toward them in a threatening manner. He has now changed his story, saying that upon viewing the video he knows the car was driving away from the officers. So why the first statement? Maybe parroting the officers statement, which would mean the officer lied about the incident? Anyway, interesting one to follow... No word on the race of the officer or past disciplinary actions.
