But it isn't Barney Fife shining a flashlight in Trump and his associates' eyes. It is the intelligence agencies of the entire Western world giving them a look-see.
The question: "Can you stand here today, once and for all, and say that no one connected to you or your campaign had any contact with Russia leading up to or during the presidential campaign? And if you do indeed believe that Russia was behind the hacking, what is your message to Vladimir Putin right now?"
That is a bad question to not have an answer to. Not having an answer to a question like that just might be where a man's luck runs out.
