Alleged "open windows" of opportunity to plant demolition charges

This is an offshoot of this thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com...d.php?t=314806

The purpose of this thread is to discuss the following claims made by Tony Szamboti of how charges could have been placed inside the WTC

Quote:

Additionally, planting charges on core columns as would need to be done in WTC 7, via the elevator shafts, which allow access to them, is not even observable.

Another possibility for how charges could have been placed in WTC 7 is with a cover story. It is well known that in the late 1990's mayor Rudy Giuliani insisted on putting his newly created Office of Emergency Management headquarters on the 23rd floor of WTC 7 and the contractor for the 13 million dollar project had access to the entire building for backup power and life systems.

The same can be said of the Twin Towers with the ACE elevator upgrade which was occurring in the eight months prior to Sept. 11, 2001.

The last claim about elevator repairs in the TT was already addressed by me in that thread

I don't know if this has been answered but nearly a year before 9/11 there was a problem with an elevator in the WTC

THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: We want to shift our attention now across town on the island of Manhattan, south end of the island, the World Trade Center. A breaking news story developing there.

Apparently there is a problem with an elevator inside the World Trade Center a short time ago. The information we have, and it's not much just yet, but apparently 22 people were on an elevator that did experience difficulties earlier today. It is said that minor injuries did occur as a result of this accident there. These pictures, you're seeing a live picture now as people mill on the street below, from -- courtesy of WCBS, our affiliate there in New York City.

Again, an elevator accident just a short time ago. Twenty-two people onboard that elevator, said to be minor injuries. As we get more details we'll certainly bring them to you. Emergency crews indeed have responded to the scene as you can tell from that live picture.

Elevator repairs would most definately have occured after this incident. If these were the "suspicious" repairs 8 months prior then charges could not have been placed because since these guys would have been working on fixing only one elevator in one shaft and likely would have taken a couple of days not months.
