According to his lawyer, this guy "accidentally" drove around a barrier onto the boardwalk and then he "accidentally" crashed into a crowd of people. I guess his fleeing the scene was an "accident" too. Yes, accidents happen, but this sounds more like a car crash of the deliberate variety like Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar. This story scared me when I first heard about it because I was at a street festival this past weekend and if someone had wanted to crash through the barriers, they could have. Now I'm just shaking my head at the "accident" claim.
