Last fall I started a compost pile. This summer I finally got to use it. And boy did the dirt I got out of it kick store bought dirt's butt.
So I've been adding on to it all summer. And tonight I noticed that it was steaming for the first time. I'm not entirely sure but I guess that means there is a lot of decomposing going on. When I put my hand over it I could actually feel warmth. Now I keep it pretty moist and I turn it over about twice a week. Should I perhaps turn it over more often or add more water?
