So, here's a fun one. Two parents were fighting over their child's last name, and went to court to have the matter settled. While in court, the judge noted that the child's first name -- a name that both parents had agreed with, and was not in dispute -- was "Messiah".
The judge, apparently a devout Christian, announced that "The word Messiah is a title and its a title that has only been earned by one person and that one person is Jesus Christ", and unilaterally changed the child's name to Martin.
Unsurprisingly, the parents are appealing. And I can't see this particular decision being upheld.
