For the not ready to hunt, PG&E got a contract to demolish an old, long closed power plant in Bakersfield. They hired an unnamed demolition company to take down two big parts (towers). Locals set up viewing ca. a safe 1000 ft. away.
Demolition/implosion set off, large piece of metal goes through two chain link fences, severs a man's leg (and damages the other one - which he may also lose) continues to beat up a car and then hit something else. Four others were wounded in the incident.
